Florianópolis (or as we call it, "Floripa") is a magical island full of nature, beaches, culture, and good food. Here's a guide with some of our favorite recommendations to help you make the most of your trip!
🏖️ Favorite Beaches
Joaquina Beach - Famous for its surfing and dunes (and great for sandboarding!). Beautiful views and several beachfront bars.
Campeche Beach - A wide beach with crystal-clear waters and a heavenly view. Ideal for relaxing or surfing.
Jurerê Internacional - More sophisticated, with beach clubs and restaurants on the waterfront
Lagoinha do Leste - One of the island's most beautiful trails leads to this wild beach. Be prepared for a hike (1–1.5 hours). You can also take a boat there.

Lagoinha do Leste Trail - Known for its paradisiacal beach and scenic beauty
Lagoa Coast Trail - Easy hike with waterfalls and lakeside restaurants.
Campeche Island - Considered the "Brazilian Caribbean." Accessible by boat from Campeche Beach. Book in advance!
Joaquina Dunes - Sandboarding. Rent a board and ride down the dunes or just enjoy the sunset.
Mercado Público - Good fresh seafood options and live music.

Mercado São Jorge - A space that brings together a market, restaurants, a bookstore, a coffee shop, a brewery and sustainable product stores, all focusing on organic products

Floripa Shopping / Beiramar Shopping - For those who want to take a stroll in air conditioning.
